Manu Jimenez is based in Los Angeles and works across touring and festival production. The job is the full audio path: advance it cleanly, arrive prepared and make the show translate. He has worked live, studio and broadcast since 2008, and the same engineer can cover front of house, monitors or both.

One rig, one engineer

Manu Audio can supply the whole control package: a Waves LV1 console, stage boxes, microphones, Shure Axient Digital wireless vocals, in-ear monitor systems and playback. On SiR's 2024 Life Is Good Tour that package ran everything from one LV1 session at front of house. Every stage input, monitor bus, playback return and FOH path lived in the same show file, with no separate monitor console. Consoles and systems

When the tour or venue provides the desk, he mixes on DiGiCo, Avid, Yamaha, Lawo, Calrec and Waves consoles. System work covers tuning with Smaart and Dante and MADI networks. For shows that change shape mid-run, the show file carries both versions. SiR's band was recorded one input at a time in Los Angeles rehearsals, so the European dates ran without the trio but kept every instrument on its own LV1 channel. When the band came back for the U.S. dates, those channels switched to the live stage inputs.

Festivals and stages

Festival and event stages include Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Hinterland, HARD Summer, Outside Lands, Alexandra Palace and the Grammys, with tour dates across the U.S. and Europe.
